At the farthest point on the globe

Prior to the release of the film Leviathan (2014), the village of Teriberka was a relatively obscure location, known only to a select few. However, following the film's success, the village became a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the globe. These photographs, taken before the village's transformation, depict a desolate landscape, with a few residential buildings, a small store, a modest school, and an expansive tundra and Arctic Ocean.
